Minda and Justin Engagement Session

It was so much fun being back in Missouri for a little while in May and June
to not only catch up with dear friends,
but as well shoot some weddings and a couple very special sessions.
Minda and Justin are getting married in September and I so look forward to traveling back to soak up the Missouri September goodness as well as document their special day!
They wanted something natural and relaxed.
As it was I had the pleasure of staying with past clients and very good friends in Pleasant Hope who live on some amazing acreage.  So was the setting...
Love Minda and Justin's love story...
Second chances and knowing the real thing when it comes along!

Barefoot Beach

It is taking a little time to realize this,
but it really is almost everyday that the beach is waiting for
a lovely session such as this!
When I moved to Naples to be closer to my daughter
I had a little idea of the bonus of living in such a lovely city
but now know this is just dream worthy!
I had the pleasure of spending this evening with Stephen & Sasha at Barefoot Beach and
getting to hear a little about their love story!

Herschel and Dilshoda Engagement | Springfield Missouri Engagement Photographer

The first thing I usually ask a couple when I meet them (because I love hearing their love stories) is; where did you two meet?
Herschel and Dilshoda met at the gym and had hit it off from the start! They gave me an immediate impression of being totally relaxed with each other.
To be honest I haven't met a groom
that was as involved in the wedding planning details as Herschel was.
With the wedding quickly approaching we set up their
engagement session for that following week.
Despite the cold, we had fun and captured some memorable moments!

joe and tanya engagement...

Joe and Tanya have stolen my heart from first meeting them! They shared how they met at a St. Patrick's Day parade with some coaxing from family friends. If I had two words to describe them...ok three, they would be...easy-going, gentle and fun-loving! I felt very much "at home" with them right off and cannot wait to capture their special day!

Peter and Joni...Just Because

Joni and Peter met me Sunday at the studio for a "Just Because" session and we had fun.  But, we decided to do a location session at Big Cedar where they were staying to kick it up a notch with some natural light and capture some of their special time there.  Peter and Joni are just awesome together and so fun to be around!  Enjoy!

Ash & Samantha Engagement Session

Ash and Samantha came in from Texas this past weekend for their E-Session. They will be getting married locally on Sam's family's property this coming May. They were THE BEST to work with and with Ash being in the military we set up our "home base" at the Hilton and went from there...couldn't have asked for a more fun, easy going couple!! Loved them!
