Batya and her girls

This will always be a beautiful symbolic milestone for me and I pray for Batya and her girls.
I know there is an element missing here and the heartache of separation
in that her son has been in the Israeli army for the past couple years.
When we mothers have to focus on what we would hope to have
and what is real in front of us, sometimes it's only God that holds it all together...
For Mothers and their sons and daughters...always our babies!
Thank you Batya, Net and Bar for this beautiful introduction to life in Naples
and the blessings it has to hold!
Love, Deanna

Barefoot Beach

It is taking a little time to realize this,
but it really is almost everyday that the beach is waiting for
a lovely session such as this!
When I moved to Naples to be closer to my daughter
I had a little idea of the bonus of living in such a lovely city
but now know this is just dream worthy!
I had the pleasure of spending this evening with Stephen & Sasha at Barefoot Beach and
getting to hear a little about their love story!

Trinity's Beach Session | Naples Photographer

The weather here in Naples has been a bit chilly and this session was quite windy and wild.
But Trinity, her mom and I had a fantastic time getting some beautiful images!
I love the picture of her carrying her heels...little girl soon to be a young woman. <3 font="">
We had lovely coffee / proofing session yesterday with Trinity's mom...
here are just a few of her favorites...

The journey to Naples

It's hard to believe that a little over 6 weeks ago I was still living in Missouri.
There have been so many God stories along the way
that have paved the way for me to reunite with my daughter
and start making a home near her.
After being apart for 7 years, as much as I loved and love SW Missouri and it's beauty,
there were too many things pointing me towards her and moving to Naples.
I'm so grateful beyond words for the support along the way from family and friends.
Too many to thank in this one post.

Waking up in Georgia at my friend Diane's
and visiting her and her mom was extra special.

Not only did I get to visit with Mary,
but I squeezed in my niece's Christmas recital in Colombia, SC
on the way over to Charleston, SC where my Aunt & Uncle live.
Visiting my Aunt and Uncle in Charleston was a major life mile-stone in so many ways.
They have always been a couple that I looked up to in making their dreams a reality...
They are blessed with all my cousins and their kids around them...
when we all got together one night it really was a full house.
My heart was warmed.

To finally be near Megan (here with her super sweet boyfriend, Nick)
I am thankful and grateful each
day to just be able to be in her life and be available.
Of course I'm enjoying scouting all the new locations and
I have already been blessed with
new clients that are quickly becoming dear friends!

A couples photo shoot in Naples

With the busiest wedding season of the year well under-way
it was great to get a break to fly down to Naples this month and hug my daughter.
It was also a joy to catch up with Josh & Kristine for this fun photo shoot!
I hope you enjoy it as much as we did...
We started at the lovely Mercato shopping center.

Loved this beautiful Banyan tree as a back drop...

We made our way out to the incredible Naples Pier.

Ending with a beautiful evening on the pier...
